Reset OMU(RST OMU)

Function

An OM command that resets the GOMU or the GBAM server.

Note

1. Resetting the OMU may disrupt some time-consuming OM operations. It may also have impact on services. Meanwhile, the LMT or MML client may be disconnected. Perform this operation with caution.

2. The DAEMON process on the OMU must be operational.

Parameters

ID Name Description
TG Target

Meaning: identifier of the active or standby GOMU

Value range: ACTIVE(Active), STANDBY(Standby)

Explanation:

1. ACTIVE(Active) indicates the active GOMU, and STANDBY(Standby) indicates the standby GOMU.

2. For GBAM, only the ACTIVE(Active) is valid. If you select STANDBY(Standby), the command fails to be run.

Default value: None

Example

Reset the GBAM server (or the active GOMU):
RST OMU: TG=ACTIVE;
