According to the GSM protocols, the BSC performs CRC on each TRAU frame. If the CRC of a certain TRAU frame fails, the TRAU frame is regarded as an invalid one. Then, the BSC performs smoothing on the invalid frame, thus eliminating the noise caused by the errors in parameter transmission. The CRC should be performed on the TRAU frames of all speech services except the FR service. If this parameter is set to Open, services are not affected. |
