Parameter Name |
Diversity Transmitter 8PSK Delay(1/8bit) |
---|---|
Description |
Generally, the time delay of the transmit diversity is set to 2 bit (7.4 us) and is applied to common attenuation environment. The transmit diversity can achieve a power gain of 3-5 dB. As the attenuation environment differs, a permanent time delay results in different gains for different users. A permanent time delay also has negative impact to the codes of EDGE services. Therefore, the time delay of the transmit diversity should be configurable, and the time delay for the GMSK and the 8PSK should be specified separately. The unit of the time delay parameter is 1/8 bit. The default time delay for GMSK is 2 bit and the default time delay for 8PSK is 1 bit. |
