If this parameter is set to Algorithm I, then the BSC should perform AMR rate adaptation according to the C/I value. If this parameter is set to Algorithm II, then the BSC should perform AMR rate adaptation according to the BER value. Algorithm II is valid only for the EMR. If this parameter is set to None, the AMR rate adaptation algorithm is not enabled, and a fixed coding rate is used. |
