Description

The channel type to be assigned is decided according to the channel types that are allowed by the MSC and the percentage of seized TCHs in the cell.

During the channel assignment, the TCHF or TCCH, TCHH Prior channels are required in the following conditions: Half rate and full rate channels are allowed to be assigned by the MSC, the AMR TCH/H Prior Allowed is set to Yes, and the percentage of seized TCHs in the cell is greater than the value of AMR TCH/H Prior Cell Load Threshold. In other cases, the TCHF or TCCH, TCHF Prior channels are required.
