Description |
In concentric cells (including the CoBCCH cell), when the path loss measured between an underlaid channel and the serving cell or neighbor cell is used for the estimation of the path loss of an overlaid channel the path loss offset between the overlaid subcell and the underlaid subcell must be taken into account. Path loss offset between the overlaid subcell and the underlaid subcell = combiner insertion loss difference + path loss difference between different antennas + path loss difference of different frequencies. This value is yielded on the basis of field measurement of the overlaid signal level and underlaid signal level. Measure the receive level of the overlaid subcell and underlaid subcell at different places if the overlaid subcell and underlaid subcell use different antennas. |
