This parameter should be set on the basis of the negotiation with the MSC at the peer end. If this parameter is set to Force Sending, the HO_REQ_ACK message carries chosen_encryp_algorithm. If this parameter is set to Force NO Sending, the HO_REQ_ACK message does not carry chosen_encryp_algorithm. If this parameter is set to System Optimization, the HO_REQ_ACK message carries chosen_encryp_algorithm when the ciphering algorithms used by the MS before and after the handover are different. Otherwise, the message does not carry chosen_encryp_algorithm. |
