When this parameter is set to Open, the Revision Level in the classmark is forcibly changed into 1 if the classmark reported by the MS indicates that the MS supports the 3GPP protocol. Then, the MS sends a Setup message to the MSC. After receiving the Setup message, the MSC sends an ASS REQ message. The call can be made normally. When this parameter is set to Close, the Revision Level in classmark 2 is set to 2 if classmark 2 reported by the MS indicates that the MS supports the 3GPP protocols. Then, after receiving the Setup message from the MS, the MSC does not send an ASS REQ message. Instead, the MSC sends a Release CMP message to release the call. |
