Configuration Policy |
If this parameter is set to Open, the BSC responds to the MSC with an assignment failure message. If this parameter is set to Close, the BSC responds to the MSC with an assignment complete message. Without complying with the protocols, some MSCs release the A interface circuits before sending a CLR CMD message. The MSC initiates an SDCCH assignment request (for example, for the purpose of SMS) before sending a CLR CMD message. The Huawei BSC, however, directly responds with an ASS CMP message. In this case, the MSC may consider that the previously assigned circuit is released, and then the MSC reassigns the circuit to the second call. After receiving the ASS CMP message, the MSC considers that the service is complete and mistakenly releases the circuit that is assigned to the second call. |
