Parameter Name |
Continuous Jitter Frames |
---|---|
Description |
This parameter specifies the number of frames the Jitter Buffer continuously loses before the Jitter Buffer adjustment is triggered. When the number of the received IP voice frames that continuously fail to fall within the receiving window of the Jitter Buffer reaches this threshold, the Jitter Buffer adjustment is triggered and the expected received frame number and the receiving window is recalculated. |

Configuration Policy |
If this parameter is set to a lower value, this causes the Jitter Buffer to adjust frequently, thus affecting the voice quality. If this parameter is set to a higher value, this causes the Jitter Buffer to fail to respond to the changes in time labels, thus causing continuous frame loss. |
