Parameter Name |
Max AdjustTime |
---|---|
Description |
This parameter specifies the longest interval between the adjustments made by the Jitter Buffer to reduce related values. Once the current adjustment interval is smaller than this threshold, another adjustment is triggered. If the IP transmission is of good quality, the Jitter Buffer can shorten the buffer depth and reduce the network transmission delay. But Jitter Buffer adjustment can also cause a certain amount of frame loss. The purpose of setting this parameter is to ensure that the Jitter Buffer voluntarily makes adjustment to reduce the network delay to a minimum value. If the Jitter Buffer is already in optimized configuration, related parameters may not be changed during the adjustment. |
