Description |
This parameter specifies the value of the flow control timer C. The GRRM sends a flow control message to the BSSGP every time the timer expires. For example, value 1000 indicates that the timer value is 1000 ms, and value 10000 indicates that the timer value is 3000 ms. |

Configuration Policy |
If this parameter is set to an excessive value, the flow control mechanism of the Gb interface cannot adapt to the new situation in real time, thus decreasing the transmission performance but saving bandwidth resources. If this parameter is set to a modest value, the BVC or MS sends the flow control message frequently. Therefore, the SGSN can use the flow control parameters in real time, thus improving the transmission performance. The BVC or MS, however occupies high bandwidth for sending the flow control message, thus decreasing the transmission performance. |
