Description |
This parameter specifies the type of the extension measurement report Three types of the extension measurement report are type 1, type 2, and type 3. Type 1: The MS sends the measurement report of the six strongest carriers to the network regardless of whether the BSIC was decoded. The measurement report should contain the received signal level and BSIC. Type 2: The MS sends the measurement report of the six strongest carriers to the network. For the six carriers, the BSIC must be decoded successfully and the NCC specified by NCC_PERMITTED is carried. The measurement report should contain the received signal level and BSIC. Type 3: The MS does not need to decode the BSIC of the carriers that send the measurement report. The measurement report should contain the received signal level and interference measurement of a carrier. |
