Parameter Name |
IntraCell AMR TCHH-TCHF Ho ATCB Threshold |
---|---|
Description |
If the ATCB of an AMR full-rate call is lower than this threshold, the call meets a condition for AMR TCHH-TCHF handover. The greater the ATCB value, the shorter the distance between the MS and the cell center. |

Configuration Policy |
If this parameter is set to a too great value, only an MS close to the cell center can be assigned TCHHs. Thus, timeslots are wasted, and network congestion cannot be relieved in time. If this parameter is set to a too small value, an MS of bad quality on the cell edge cannot be handed over from TCHH to TCHF. Thus, the quality of the call cannot be improved. |
