Parameter Name |
IntraCell Non-AMR TCHF-TCHH Ho Pathloss Adjust Step |
---|---|
Description |
This parameter, together with IntraCell TCHF-TCHH Ho Period, determines the path loss offset. Path loss offset = (TCHF-TCHH handover duration/IntraCell TCHF-TCHH Ho Period +1) x IntraCell AMR TCHF-TCHH Ho Pathloss Adjust Step If MS path loss < path loss threshold + path loss offset, you can infer that the MS meets Intracell TCHF-TCHH Ho Passloss Threshold. |

Configuration Policy |
If this parameter is set too large, the handover area quickly expands within a short time, which causes many MSs to enable the TCHF-TCHH handover. If this parameter is set too small, the handover area slowly expands and therefore the MSs cannot immediately enable the TCHF-TCHH handover. As a result, the network congestion cannot be alleviated. |
