Description |
If the parameter is set to 1 or 2, the BSC needs to determine whether the MSC allows local switching when the BSC starts the local switching. If the parameter is set to 0, the BSC need not determine whether the MSC allows local switching when the BSC starts the local switching. The assignment request and handover request from the MSC carry the flags about whether the MSC allows local switching. If the parameter is set to 2, the function is an enhanced function. That is, when the BSC starts or stops the local switching, the BSS sends the MSC an LCLS INDICATION message. |
