Measurement Counter

A0300: BSC_MSC_PAGING_REQ_CS

Description

When an MS is called for CS service, the MSC sends the CS paging message to the MS over the A interface. This counter provides the total number of paging messages received by the BSC from the MSC, including the number of repeated paging messages. Refer to GSM Rec. 08.08.

This counter is measured when the BSC receives the PAGIING message from the MSC, at A1 as shown in Figure 1.
