A9408: PCCCH_PS_CHAN_REQ
Description
This measurement provides the number of PACKET CHANNEL REQUEST messages sent by the MS on the PCCCH in a granularity period. This measurement indicates the packet resource request from the MS on the PACCH.

Measurement Point
Figure 1 shows the packet channel request procedure initiated by the MS on the PCCCH. Each time the BSC receives a PACKET CHANNEL REQUEST message from the MS (see measurement point A), the counter is incremented by one.
