Description

Mean duration of call establishment provides the duration from the time the BSC receives the CHANNEL REQUIRED message from the BTS to the time the BSC detects the duration of the first ASSIGNMENT message (uplink or downlink) during a call.

This measurement provides the mean duration of call establishment.

Measurement Point

Accumulated Duration of Call Establishment is the accumulated duration from the time the MS receives the CHANNEL REQUIRED message from the BSC to the time the BSC receives the first ALERTING message (uplink or downlink) within the granularity period.

The value of Sampling Times of Call Establishment is added by one when the BSC receives the first ALERTING message (uplink or downlink).
