Description
Multiple messages from the upper layer can be assembled into one DATA message and then transmitted over the SCTP link. Each data message from the upper layer can be regarded as one data block. If the DATA message received from the SCTP link contains multiple data blocks, the DATA message should be disassembled before it is transmitted to the upper layer.
This counter provides the total number of data blocks received from the SCTP links.

Measurement Point
This counter is measured when the BSC receives a DATA message from the MSC over the SCTP link. This counter is measured at A, as shown in the following figure.
