This measurement provides the severe error seconds in a granularity period. If any severe error block is received over the Abis port within one second, this second is regarded as a severe error second. Along with Duration of Error Blocks over Abis Port, this measurement can be used to calculate Rate of Severely Errored Seconds of Reception over Abis Port. Given a specified Duration of Error Blocks over Abis Port, the transmission quality deteriorates when the value of Severely Errored Seconds of Reception over Abis Port increases.
