Description

This measurement provides the number of received RESET messages for an NSVC in a granularity period. The message is received by the BSC from the SGSN. The SGSN sends the BSC a RESET message for an NSVC under one of the following conditions: The system starts to work; the SGSN detects that the fault of the physical link on the Gb interface is rectified; the SGSN maintenance personnel sends a command to reset the NSVC.

Measurement Point

In a granularity period, the counter is incremented by one every time the BSC receives an NSVC RESET REQ message from the SGSN (see measurement point A in Figure 1).
