Description

This measurement provides the number of RESUME PDUs sent by a cell in a granularity period. When a class B MS ends CS services, the BSC sends the RESUME PDU to the SGSN to resume PS services if there is any suspended PS service.

Measurement Point

The following figure shows the process where the BSC sends the RESUME PDU to the SGSN. In a granularity period, every time the BSC sends a RESUME PDU message to the SGSN (see measurement point A in Figure 1), the counter is incremented by one.
