Description

This measurement provides the number of information TRAU frames received from the BTS in a granularity period. When the uplink is idle and no data service is processed, the BTS will send information TRAU frames. The number of information TRAU frames indicates the extent of the uplink idleness in a granularity period.

Integer number or integer.

Measurement Point

The following figure shows the process where the BSC receives the uplink information TRAU frames (including the GPRS and EGPRS). In a granularity period, the counter is incremented by one every time the BSC receives an information TRAU frame (see measurement point A in Figure 1).
