Description
The previous counters are used to measure the channel assignment requests for SDCCHs, TCHFs, and TCHHs in the immediate assignment procedure. When the MS directly sends the requests to the BSS or sends requests in the reassignment procedure, the corresponding counters are measured based on the channel type.
Channel Assignment Requests in Immediate Assignment Procedure (TCH) indicates that the number of the channel assignment requests for TCHFs or TCHHs in the immediate assignment procedure.

Measurement Point
As shown at point A in the figure, the BSC measures the previous counters based on the channel type in the immediate assignment procedure if the following conditions are met:
The BSC receives the CHAN RQD message from the BTS.
The MS requests for SDCCHs, TCHFs, or TCHHs or the system performs another request for SDCCHs, TCHFs, or TCHHs.
