R4419B: TRX_ASS_CMPL_TCH
Description
In the assignment procedure, the BSC sends an ASS CMD message to the MS after successfully assigning a TCH and activating the TCH. Upon receipt of the ASSIGNMENT COMMAND message, the MS sends an SABM frame to the BTS, indicating the air interface is already in the status of multi-frame link establishment. The BTS returns a UA frame to the MS as an acknowledgement and sends an ESTABLISH INDICATION message to notify the BSC that a link is successfully established on the air interface. Upon receipt of the UA frame, the MS sends an ASSIGNMENT COMPLETE message to the BSC. After the BSC receives the ASSIGNMENT COMPLETE message, the counter R4419B "Completed Assignments (TCH)" is incremented by one for the TRX where the TCH resides.
