Description

This measurement provides the number of times the BSC converts the busy dynamic PDCH to the TCH in a cell in a granularity period. It indicates the situation where the CS service preempts the PS service in a granularity period.

If the value of the counter increases, you can infer that the traffic of the BSC is high or the channel state of the BSC is abnormal. One of the following methods can be implemented:

Perform the capacity expansion to improve the access capability.
Set the uplink and downlink PDCH multiplexing thresholds to higher values.
The TCHF is converted to the TCHH.

In a granularity period, every time the BSC converts a busy dynamic PDCH to a TCH, the counter is incremented by one.
