S3230A:CELL_MS_PWR_INCREASE_CMD_TIMES
S3230B:CELL_MS_PWR_DECREASE_CMD_TIMES
S3231A:CELL_BTS_PWR_INCREASE_CMD_TIMES
S3231B:CELL_BTS_PWR_DECREASE_CMD_TIMES
After receiving an MR or a pre-processed MR, the BSC compares the uplink receive level and the uplink receive quality with their respective threshold.
If the MS transmit power needs to be increased, the BSC sends an indication to the MS for increasing the transmit power, and measures the counter S3230A: CELL_MS_PWR_INCREASE_CMD_TIMES.
If the MS transmit power needs to be decreased, the BSC sends an indication to the MS for decreasing the transmit power, and measures the counter S3230B: CELL_MS_PWR_DECREASE_CMD_TIMES.
If the BTS transmit power needs to be increased, the BSC sends an indication to the BTS for increasing the transmit power, and measures the counter S3231A: CELL_BTS_PWR_INCREASE_CMD_TIMES.
If the BTS transmit power needs to be decreased, the BSC sends an indication to the BTS for decreasing the transmit power, and measures the counter S3231B: CELL_BTS_PWR_DECREASE_CMD_TIMES.
Integer number or integer.
After receiving a valid MR or pre-processed MR from the MS or BTS in the serving cell, the BSC compares the uplink receive level and the uplink receive quality with their respective thresholds to determine whether the power level needs to be increased or decreased. Then, the BSC measures the specific counter based on the object of the power control message (MS or BTS), and the type of the power control (message for increasing the transmit power or message for decreasing the transmit power).
This is an original counter without involving any formula.
