Description

This measurement provides the maximum processing speed of the NS layer in the BSC in a granularity period.

Measurement Point

In a granularity period, the processing speed of the NS layer is sampled periodically and the maximum sampled value is used as the value of the counter.

In Gb over FR, the processing speed of the NS layer indicates the number of bytes of NS PDUs sent on the NSVC per second (including the number of bytes of frame relay header). In Gb over IP, the processing speed of the NS layer indicates the number of bytes of NS PDUs sent on the local NSVL per second (including the number of bytes of IP header).
