Description

This measurement provides the number of the measurements of the average downlink VQI in the MR or pre-processed MR based on various speech versions (full-rate speech version, half-rate speech version, enhanced full-rate speech version, AMR full-rate speech version, and AMR half-rate speech version).

Measurement Point

The specific counter is incremented by one according to current speech version (such as, full-rate speech version, half-rate speech version, enhanced full-rate speech version, AMR full-rate speech version, and AMR half-rate speech version) when the BSC receives the pre-processed MR or original MR, and the downlink VQI is contained in the extended information.

The average downlink VQI value is 50 times the total value of the downlink VQI measurement divided by the downlink VQI measurements.

NOTE:

The total value of the downlink VQI measurement and the downlink VQI measurements should be calculated from the specific counters and based on the current speech version (full-rate speech version, half-rate speech version, enhanced full-rate speech version, AMR full-rate speech version, or AMR half-rate speech version).
