Description

This measurement provides the number of successful internal inter-cell handovers of all the cells controlled by a BSC (1800/1900-900/850). This counter measures the number of successful incoming internal inter-cell handovers initiated in the target cell according to the handover algorithm. The measurement is based on the channel type. The handover causes include directed retry and indirected retry.

The channel involved in the measurement can be the SDCCH or the TCH.

According to the counter Attempted Internal Inter-Cell Handovers per BSC (1800/1900-900/850), the internal inter-cell handovers per BSC can be well understood.

The handover frequency band range is 1800/1900 to 900/850.
