Traffic Volume on TCH per BSC (Signaling Channel)

Measurement Counter

ZK3024:BSCRPT_KPI_TCH_TRAF_ERL_SIG

Description

This measurement counter is equal to the average number of busy TCHs (signaling channels) in all the cells controlled by a BSC. After activating channels, the BSC collects the number of busy TCHs in all the cells controlled by the BSC per second. In a granularity period, the value of this counter is the result of dividing the total number of busy TCHs by the number of channel status sampling times.

Unit

Erl.

Measurement Point

At the end of each granularity period, this counter is measured by using the following formula. For details on the measurement point, see Traffic Volume on TCH (Signaling Channel).

Formula

Traffic Volume on TCH per BSC (Signaling Channel) = Traffic Volume on TCH (Signaling Channel)

(That is, the total of the original counter Traffic Volume on TCH (Signaling Channel) in each cell of the BSC.)
