Description
This measurement provides the number of internal incoming cell handover commands of all the cells controlled by a BSC. The channel involved in the measurement can be the SDCCH, TCHF, or TCHH.
The BSC sends the handover command to the MS through the source cell. This handover command is equivalent to the handover response returned to the MS. This counter measures the number of handover commands returned to the MS based on the channel type and the frequency band type respectively in the target cell.
The handover can be performed between GSM900/850 and GSM900/850, between GSM1800/1900 and GSM1800/1900, between GSM900/850 and GSM1800/1900, or between GSM1800/1900 and GSM900/850.
According to the counter Successful Internal Incoming Cell Handovers per BSC, the internal incoming cell handover per BSC can be well understood. According to the counters related to outgoing internal inter-cell handovers per BSC, the internal inter-cell handover per BSC can be well understood.
