This dialog box allows you to change the appearance of your menu bar and toolbars. You can access this page by selecting Toolbars from the View menu, and then choosing Customize.
Show Standard and Formatting toolbars on 2 rows
Disabled by default, this option positions both toolbars on the same row in the document window. If you are not sure if the Standard or the Formatting toolbar is displayed, point to Toolbars on the View menu. A check mark appears next to every toolbar that is currently displayed.
Menu show recently used commands first
Disabled by default, this option shows frequently used commands on personalized versions of menus.
Show full menus after a short delay
This option is disabled by default. When you hover the pointer over an open menu, all the commands on the menu are shown after a brief delay.
Reset my usage data
Disabled by default, this option clears menu and toolbar settings that were automatically saved when you chose menu command and toolbar buttons. Buttons you have added or deleted on toolbars are not affected.
Note Clicking the Reset my usage data button does not change the location of toolbars, does not remove any buttons or commands you've added by using the Customize dialog box, and does not add buttons or commands you've deleted.
Large icons
Increases the size of toolbar icons so that they are easier to see.
Transparent floating toolbars
Enabling this option causes unattended floating toolbars to appear as transparent overlays after a short delay. The toolbars remain atop other windows in the IDE, but allow you to see text and other user interface elements behind them. This effect is not visible on monitors set to 256 colors or less.
List font names in their font
Displays, in list format, each font name as a sample of the font itself.
Show ScreenTips on toolbars
Displays on-screen descriptions of toolbar buttons when the pointer hovers over them.
Show shortcut keys in ScreenTips
Specifies whether shortcut key combinations appear in ToolTips for commands on toolbars.
Menu animations
Changes the way menus come into view when you click a command. For example, Slide Menu Animation causes the menus to appear with a sliding motion.
Keyboard
Displays the Keyboard page of the Environment page in the Options dialog box, which allows you to change and define shortcut key combinations for commands.
