The Advanced tab of the 2D Line Plots Case Profiles dialog contains a variety of options for creating 2D line plots using case profiles.
Variables. Click the Variables button to display the standard variable selection dialog, in which you select the variable(s) to be plotted. The values of the selected variables are plotted sequentially (one line for each case).
Graph type. Select the type of line plot to be plotted from the Graph type list. Click the desired plot link listed below for a brief description of that type of graph.
Points. You can display the line plot with (On) or without (Off) point markers. If you select Auto, then STATISTICA automatically determines the display of point markers depending on the number of observations and the closeness of the points (usually, if N>100, then the points are not displayed).
Fit. You can fit an equation to the points in the line plots by selecting one of the predefined functions in this box.
Reference lines. You can use Reference lines to place limits or boxes in plots in order to define simple and data-independent limit ranges.
Values/Axis selection. Specify for each of the four limits (X1, X2, Y1, and Y2), whether you want the limit displayed in the graph by selecting the respective check box, and also the exact coordinate of the limit on the respective axis (i.e., its value) that determines its position in the graph.
