View - Brushing

Select Brushing from the View menu to activate the brushing mode and display the interactive Brushing dialog. When this mode is activated, the cursor changes to a "gunsight-style" cross-hair, and you can highlight data points from the graph by clicking on them with the cross-hair, enclosing them in a box, lasso, or cube (3D plots, only). You can also slice graphs along the x-, y-, or z-axis (3D plots, only). STATISTICA features a comprehensive selection of brushing facilities, including a variety of tools for manipulation of data points on screen, as well as the management of brushed (selected) data points.
