The Graph window in STATISTICA not only serves to display the graph, but actually represents a very efficient and sophisticated graph-customization dialog that enables you to make changes to practically all aspects of the graph (e.g., axes, scaling, labels, colors, patterns, etc) by simply double-clicking on the respective component (of the graph) in the graph window. You can also right-click on the currently highlighted graph component to review the available types of customization options for that graph component. Refer to the Graph Overview for a description of the large number of graph customization options available in STATISTICA. Refer to the Graph Menu Bar topic for a listing of the options available when a graph is open.
Support for F4.
To simplify the process of editing graph display features (e.g., font
color, point markers, area patterns), STATISTICA
provides support for F4. This means that you can repeat
Interactive graphics controls. When the Display interactive graphics controls check box is selected in the Options dialog, Graphs/Display options pane, a bar containing sliders will be displayed at the bottom of your graph windows. Use the sliders to adjust plot area transparency and marker transparency, and rotate 3D graphs vertically and horizontally.
