The Import Header tool creates header text files for importing and exporting a variety of directory objects, such as mailboxes, dynamic-link libraries (DLLs), gateways, and details templates. The tool can also be used to load a header from an existing directory import or export file. You must run Import Header on a Microsoft Exchange Server computer, and the directory service must be running.
