Microsoft Jet Replication Architecture

The Microsoft Jet replication engine consists of four major components:

• Tracking layer
  
  
• Microsoft Replication Manager
  
  
• Synchronizer
  
  
• Briefcase reconciler

The following diagram shows the relationship among these components and between the components and Microsoft Jet.
