The Migration Kit and the Example Program

Your C to MFC Migration Kit consists of the following:

• This migration guide, both in print and as a help file on the distribution diskette.

  The guide describes migration from C to MFC and explains where porting from 16 bit to 32 bit fits into that migration strategy.

• Several sample programs on the distribution diskette.
  • SHOWDIB, 32 bit, original and migrated
  • SHOWDIB, 16 bit, original and migrated

    These samples are located in the following directories on the diskette:

  The Migration Kit includes a tool that scans your C source files and offers suggestions for things you should do to migrate the code to MFC. For more information, see Using the MFC Migration Tool.
