Viewing and Printing Registry Data as Text

You might want to examine the contents of a Registry key as text for troubleshooting. You can save a key as a text file, and you can print data from Registry Editor, including a key, its subkeys, and all of the value entries of all of its subkeys.

The Save Subtree As command also works for the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE subtree, which you cannot otherwise save as a hive file.
