Specifies if the Input Method Editor is opened when you navigate to a text box in a Browse window.
Syntax
SET BROWSEIME ON | OFF
Arguments
ON
(Default for Taiwan region and People’s Republic of China Windows) Opens the Input Method Editor when you navigate to a text box in a Browse window.
OFF
(Default for Korean Windows) The Input Method Editor isn’t opened when you navigate to a text box in a Browse window.
Remarks
SET BROWSEIME corresponds to the Browse IME control check box on the General tab of the Options dialog box.
This command has no effect if you are not working in a DBCS environment.
