CreateRectRgnIndirect

The CreateRectRgnIndirect function creates a rectangular region.

HRGN CreateRectRgnIndirect(
  CONST RECT *lprc   // pointer to the rectangle
);
 

Parameters

lprc
Pointer to a RECT structure that contains the coordinates of the upper-left and lower-right corners of the rectangle that defines the region.

Return Values

If the function succeeds, the return value is the handle to the region.

If the function fails, the return value is NULL.

Windows NT: To get extended error information, call GetLastError.

Remarks

The region will be exclusive of the bottom and right edges.

Windows CE: Windows CE represents regions using 16-bit values.
