  1. Sculpt or bevel entry slots and so on (including compact disc trays)
  2. Make latches operable with one hand
  3. Ensure devices do not generate electromagnetic fields that would affect users with hearing aids
  4. Have separate components that allow for use of alternative devices
  5. Use adjustable height, swivel, and so on where appropriate
  6. Have low noise operation
  7. Have no hard edges or corners
