ACC1x: Network Setup (/N) Fails After Network Error

SYMPTOMS

If your network experiences a problem while you are running the Microsoft Access network installation (SETUP /N), you will receive an error message in Microsoft Access Setup. After you choose the Cancel button you will receive an error message stating that the system was previously set up, even though the installation was not completed successfully.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Access versions 1.0 and 1.1. This problem no longer occurs in Microsoft Access version 2.0.
