ACC: ENTER in Multi-line Text Box Does Not Move to Next Line

The insertion point in a multi-line text box does not move to the next line in the text box when you press ENTER; instead it moves to the next control in the tab order on the form.

MORE INFORMATION

In Microsoft Access version 1.x, to move the insertion point to the next line of a multi-line text box, press CTRL+ENTER.

In Microsoft Access 2.0, 7.0, and 97, you can also use CTRL+ENTER. However, these versions of Microsoft Access have another method as well.

In Microsoft Access 2.0, 7.0, and 97, text boxes have an EnterKeyBehavior property. The settings available for this property are Default and New Line In Field. Setting the EnterKeyBehavior property to New Line In Field will move the insertion point to a new line in the text box when you press ENTER.
