XL: "Not Enough Resources" Faxing Charts with Microsoft Fax

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to fax an activated embedded Microsoft Excel chart, you may receive the following error message:

   Not enough system resources to display correctly.

After acknowledging the error, the fax is transmitted but some stray characters may remain on the screen.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

MORE INFORMATION

The problem only occurs with activated embedded charts. Chart sheets or charts objects on a worksheet will fax normally and without error.
