The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Exchange Server, version 4.0

SUMMARY

There is no difference between the Microsoft Windows NT version 3.51 Service Pack 4 (SP4) that was shipped with Microsoft Exchange 4.0 and the one available from many sources, including the World Wide Web.

However, Microsoft Exchange SP4 has been released and this is significantly different than Windows NT SP4.

To find which Windows NT 3.51 Service Pack has been installed, start the Windows NT Program Manager and click About on the Help menu.

To find the version of Microsoft Exchange that has been installed, follow these steps:

  1. Start the Microsoft Exchange Administrator program.
2. Expand the Site container that the Microsoft Exchange Server in question
   is located in.
3. Expand the Configuration container. 4. Expand the Servers container. 5. Select the Microsoft Exchange Server. 6. Select Properties on the File menu.
