This article lists files installed and used with the Microsoft Exchange Macintosh client.

"Release Notes" are available on the Microsoft Exchange Macintosh client compact disc. (Insert the compact disc into a Macintosh CD-ROM drive, and you will see the install files, along with the Release Notes.)

   System\Preferences\Exchange Profiles\<nnnnCBn>   (where n's are replaced
   by numbers; each profile created on the Macintosh will have a unique
   "CB" file)

   System\Preferences\Exchange Profiles\Profile Registry (each Macintosh
   client will only have one of these files, but it will be modified as
   needed)

   System\Preferences\Exchange Profiles\ExchangeUID  (each Macintosh client
   will only have one of these files, but it will be modified as needed)

   System\Preferences\mspst.ini  (created when you start the Microsoft
   Exchange Macintosh client)

   Microsoft Exchange\Personal Address Book (created when you install the
   Personal Address Book service)

   Microsoft Exchange\Personal Folders (created when you install the
Personal Folders service)

   System\Preferences\RPC Preferences (created when you send or read a
   message)

   System\Preferences\Exchange Profiles\Offline Folders (created when you
   click Yes in the dialog box asking whether you will travel with
   computer. This file can also be created by doing this: in the Microsoft
   Exchange Server service, click the Advanced tab, and select Offline
   Folder File Settings.)
