XADM: Perfwiz with -r Option Runs in Read-Only Mode

The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Exchange Server, versions 4.0, 5.0, and 5.5

When you run Performance Wizard (Perfwiz) with the -r option, Perfwiz runs in a read-only mode.

When run in this mode, Perfwiz will:

· Not stop the services. · Not test the disk drives. · Show in a read-only manner where the logs/databases are located. · Show in a read only manner what the values for the various registry

   settings it sets are.
